Abstract

[spa] ÈXIT es una instalación Interdisciplinar donde la escultura, el vídeo y la instalación escenográfica generan un recorrido narrativo. El proyecto surge a partir de la idea de regalar una escultura de bronce a mis padres. De modo intuitivo aparece la figura del “Premio Goya” como símbolo popular de reconocimiento artístico. La pieza tiene connotaciones conceptuales y de arte pop, además de provocar el viejo debate sobre la apropiación. Interpela la definición de artista y contiene cierto análisis de nuestra posición dentro del sistema psicopolítico. Sin abandonar el sentido del humor, muestra la incomprensión social y frustración del artista anónimo en contraposición a su constancia. Pero también contiene un lado íntimo y psicológico que nos acerca a la teoría de la inevitable fusión entre el arte y la vida. Reflexiona sobre la relación paterna filial y la autoestima para finalmente acercarse al arte desde su lado mágico, terapéutico y su utilidad decorativa.

[eng] ÈXIT is an interdisciplinary installation (cross-disciplinary), where sculpture, video and scenery installation create a narrative journey. The project arises from the idea of making a bronze sculpture for my parents as a gift. In an intuitive way appears the “Premio Goya” figure as a symbol of well known and popular artistic success recognition. The bronze sculpture has conceptual connotations as well as pop art ones. It also brings out the old debate about appropriation. It addresses to the Artist definition and contains certain analysis of our position inside psycho-political system. With a humorous dose, shows social incomprehension and anonymous artistic frustration in contrast with its perseverance. The Project also has an intimate and psychological arise that approaches us to the inevitable fusion between art and life. Reflects about the parent-child relationship and self-esteem to approach art from its magical side, its therapeutic one and also its decorative utility.
