Consolidación de espacios públicos en espacios urbanos con valores patrimoniales y culturales

[spa] El presente trabajo, explora la influencia de un entorno con valor patrimonial y cultural, como es el caso de los Jardins de Rubió i Lluch ubicados en el barrio el Raval de Barcelona en la configuración de éste en un espacio público. Dicha consolidación se efectúa especialmente cuando deja ser el antiguo Hospital General de la ciudad, a un espacio donde convergen instituciones culturales, educativas y hasta comerciales que logran dinamizar el territorio conservando y poniendo en valor las características patrimoniales y con ella la serie de significado históricos, reconocimientos arquitectónicos y culturales para la ciudad. Esta convergencia genera ciertos usos y comportamientos asociados al diseño del espacio público que en ocasiones pueden ser contrarias al ámbito normativo que pretende regular la convivencia en el espacio público; pero que al mismo tiempo adquiere una dimensión política, en el que las tensiones son asumidas como prácticas espaciales de apropiación social pero que para su comprensión se consideró vital acoger algunas aproximaciones de la teoría unitaria del espacio.

[eng] The present work explores the influence of an environment with patrimonial and cultural value, as is the case of the Rubió i Lluch Gardens located in the El Raval neighborhood of Barcelona in the configuration of this one in a public space. This consolidation takes place especially when it leaves the former General Hospital of the city, a space where cultural, educational and even commercial institutions converge that manage to dynamize the territory preserving and putting in value the patrimonial characteristics and with it the series of historical, Architectural and cultural reconnaissance for the city. This convergence generates certain uses and behaviors associated with the design of the public space that at times can be contrary to the normative scope that tries to regulate the coexistence in the public space; But at the same time it acquires a political dimension, in which tensions are assumed as spatial practices of social appropriation, but for its comprehension it was considered vital to accept some approximations of the unit theory of space.
