Abstract

[cat] NOGYM és un projecte artístic en format videoclip que aborda el consum i la recepció d’imatges esportives, a través de les pantalles i els dispositius tecnològics actuals. A partir de l’experiència personal d’abstinència física, l’autor elabora un assaig sobre els diferents rols que assumim com a consumidors d’imatges esportives a l’era digital. El treball consta de sis videoclips que (junts) pretenen funcionar com una peça de videoart. El format videoclip permet donar agilitat, frescor i “humor” a la reflexió artística, i ofereix una entrada atractiva per a un públic més ampli. L’autor ha elaborat la música electrònica, amb ordinador, amb l’ajut de samplers. Igualment, l’edició d’imatges s’ha fet barrejant material aliè amb d’altre elaborat per l’autor. L’assaig audiovisual es complementa amb un breu assaig teòric sobre els subjectes que participen en la visualització d’imatges esportives i sobre els respectius punts de vista.

[eng] NOGYM is an artistic project in video format that approaches the consumption and the reception of sportive images, through the screens and the current technological devises. From personal experience of physical abstinence, the author elaborates an essay about the different roles that we assume as consumers of sports images in the digital area. The work consists of six clips that pretend working like a piece of videoart. The videoart format allows giving agility, freshness and “humor” to the artistic reflection, and offers an attractive entrance for a wider audience. The author elaborated the electronic music, with a computer, with the help of samplers. In the same way, the images edition was made mixing foreign material with material made by the author. The audiovisual essay is complemented with a brief theoretical essay about the subjects who participate in the visualization of sportive images and about the respective points of view.
