El acoso escolar por motivo de orientación sexual o identidad de género : el respeto ante la diversidad: programa de prevención y sensibilización

Abstract

Este proyecto nace de la preocupación de hacer frente al acoso escolar por razones como la orientación sexual o la identidad de género. De ese modo, el proyecto presentado tiene como objetivo principal analizar el impacto de los roles y estereotipos de género así como conocer opiniones, reacciones y experiencias de los y las jóvenes ante la diversidad sexual. El estudio ha consistido, por un lado, en un análisis cualitativo mediante entrevistas a ex alumnos y, por otro lado, en un análisis cuantitativo a partir de cuestionarios distribuidos a alumnado de primer ciclo de Educación Secundaria Obligatoria de tres centros educativos públicos. Los resultados permiten ver como se está superando el discurso estereotipado pero siguen persistiendo creencias entre el sexo masculino. A su vez, en la muestra seleccionada se observa la presencia de casos de acoso escolar pero el porcentaje disminuye cuando se habla de acoso escolar homofóbico y/o transfóbico. Las conclusiones del proyecto dan lugar al diseño de una propuesta de programa educativo para el profesorado y alumnado de Educación Secundaria Obligatoria.

This project stems from the concern of addressing bullying for reasons such as sexual orientation or gender identity. In this way, the main aim of the project is to analyze the impact of gender roles and stereotypes and knows the opinions, reactions and experiences of young people about sexual diversity. The study consists, on one hand, of a qualitative analysis with interviews to a former student and, on the other hand, quantitative analysis through surveys handed to the students of first cycle in publics High School. The results allow us to see how the stereotyped has the discourse been overcome but beliefs are still persisting between males. At the same time, the sample interviewed shows the presence of bullying cases, but the percentage of cases decreases when homophobic and/or transphobic bullying is mentioned. The conclusions of the project take into account a proposal of an educational program for the Secondary Education teachers and students.
