Abstract: [en] Table tennis is an extremely fast sport which makes it hard for coaches to supervise many trainings at the same time. In this dissertation, a system is presented to solve that problem using a camera over the ping-pong table and a computer connected to the camera to process that information. This system outputs all gathered data of the match which are the trajectory the ball followed and the places where it bounced. The constructed system finds the ball’s trajectory satisfactorily, however not its bounces, mainly because the implementation was done using a camera with low frame rate and resolution.
