La Batalla de Baecula (208 Ane). Localització de la contesa i anàlisi de la participació dels foners baleàrics

[cat] La batalla de Baecula (208 Ane.) és una de les conteses més conegudes en el marc de la Segona Guerra Púnica a la península Ibèrica. Aquesta ha estat motiu discòrdia entre els investigadors pel que fa a la localització de l’emplaçament on es va produir aquesta batalla. A més, les fonts històriques mencionen la participació dels foners baleàrics a la batalla de Baecula. El present treball pretén ser un estat de la qüestió sobre la localització de l’emplaçament de la contesa i, alhora realitzar una anàlisi del paper dels foners baleàrics en aquesta a partir de la comparació de les bales de fona documentades al possible emplaçament amb les que s’han documentat a les Illes Balears.

[eng] The battle of Baecula (208 BC) is one of the best-known conflicts in the Second Punic War in the Iberian Peninsula. This has been a discord reason between the researchers regarding the location of the site where this battle took place. In addition, the historical funds mention the participation of the Balearic slingers in it. The present paper aims to be a state of affairs about the location of the site of the contest and, at the same time, to analyse the character of the Balearic slingers in the battle through the comparison between the lead sling bullets founded in the possible location and the bullets that have been founded in the Balearic Islands.
