«La infinitat de pobles que aplega». Pobles i identitats locals al Vallès d'ahir i d'avui

[cat] En un món caracteritzat per l'impacte de la globalització, la interconnexió i la possible pèrdua de trets significatius de les identitats locals, la reivindicació del pes històric d'aquestes identitats esdevé necessària per preservar una realitat que ha construït la nostra societat. Aquest article estudia de manera panoràmica l'existència, l'evolució i la continuïtat de pobles i identitats locals al Vallès, seleccionant-ne alguns casos particulars que ajudin a identificar categories de pobles agregats i entitats inframunicipals. Es tracta de veïnats, parròquies i localitats que no han arribat a l'actualitat amb una estructura de govern autònoma, però que han contribuït decisivament a teixir la xarxa comarcal de pobles, viles i ciutats. L'estudi analitza el Vallès en la seva totalitat com a comarca natural, una comarca que ha assistit, en els darrers temps, a la invenció de noves identitats locals sense antecedents històrics, cosa que prova la vitalitat i mobilitat de les realitats locals.

[eng] In a world characterized by the impact of globalization, interconnection and the possible loss of significant features of local identity, claiming the historical significance of these realities becomes necessary in order to preserve a fact that has built up our society. This article discusses the existence, evolution and continuity of local towns and identity in the Vallès region in a panoramic way, highlighting some cases that help to identify different categories of non-independent towns. These are neighbourhoods, parishes and places that have reached the present day without having an independent governance structure, but have contributed decisively to weaving a regional network of villages, towns and cities. The study analyses the Vallès in its entirety as a natural region. A region that in recent times has seen the invention of new local identities without historical precedents, which proves the vitality and mobility of local realities.
