[eng] The purpose of the Master's thesis is to address the effects of the Internet and social networks in the construction of identity, the management of privacy and affection, applying artistic practices of the Internet as analyses tools. The paradigm of the Postinternet society has produced a transformation of self-representation in the Web and its artworks. In this context, extimacy shared through image may be understood as a new form of communication and social interaction, whose medium and representative limit is the screen. Internet’s architecture exploits the social needs of users and their desire to contact otherness, generating affective conflicts derived from the addiction to social hyper connection in isolated conditions and the border crisis between the private and public. |
