Abstract

[cat] Aquest treball agafa com a cas d’estudi i d’actuació el Barri Antic de la ciutat de Valls. A través del contacte i el diàleg entre els veïns, examinant aquelles coses en les quals no ens sentíem còmodes, les hem intentat modificar temporalment, vivint experiències que ens han portat a la reflexió i a l’activació temporal d’alguns indrets, buscant maneres alternatives de relacionar-nos amb aquest espai que ocupem diàriament. Per tal de posar en pràctica les idees anteriors, hem realitzat tres intervencions artístiques: La primera ha consistit a complementar uns mapes on apareixia l’estructura del Barri Antic amb les idees dels veïns, afegint cadascun d’ells de forma individual allò que els agradaria modificar o allò que ja els agradava (23.04.2018); aquest material ens ha permès desenvolupar la segona i la tercera intervenció. He escollit dos dels llocs que apareixien més repetidament amb idees similars, el Cinema Nou, on hem realitzat una activitat amb alguns dels veïns del carrer tornant-lo a encartellar (28.04.2018), i la plaça de la Zeta, on hem incorporat dos elements que pretenen incentivar la recuperació del moviment (21.05.2018).

[eng] After examining the things that people from Valls are uncomfortable about the Old Town, we have tried to temporarily modify them by living different experiences that have guided us to reflexion and to the setting up of some areas. Therefore, we have looked for alternative ways to engage with these places that we currently reside. In order to do that, we have conducted three artistic contributions: The first one, we have complemented some maps of the structures from the Old Town with the neighbours’ ideas. They had to individually give their opinion whether if they wanted to change something or not (23.04.2018); this material has allowed us to develop the second and the third interventions. We have chosen two places that shared some of the neighbour’s ideas. First of all the Cinema Nou is where we have conducted an activity together with the neighbours which consisted on place some signs around the neighbourhood to make it prettier (28.04.2018). Finally, the last intervention was held in the Zeta square where we included two elements to motivate people to activate the place with movement (21.05.2018).
