Los efectos de la robotización y de la inteligencia artificial en el sector automotriz

Abstract

(cast) La aceleración del desarrollo de la robótica y de la inteligencia artificial han provocado una discusión sobre los impactos que podría generarse en el futuro reciente. Desde un punto de vista optimista, nosotros disfrutaremos de la productividad y la comodidad que nos han traído los robots. Pero al mismo tiempo nos preocupa que esta comodidad podría traducirse en una destrucción masiva de empleos. Para poder analizar mejor los impactos, nos centramos en el sector automotriz, el pionero en la implementación de robots industriales. Además, a día de hoy, casi la mitad de la demanda de robots industriales proviene particularmente de la industria automotriz. En este trabajo, basado en los datos estadísticos coleccionados, se intenta buscar los impactos generados por la robotización en los países seleccionados como Estados Unidos, Alemania y China. A continuación, también se argumentan dos maneras correctivas que podrían reducir los posibles impactos negativos. No cabe duda de que el futuro de la industria automotriz estará altamente correlacionado con la robótica y la IA, pero esperamos que, con esta revolución tecnológica, la industria pueda aportar más beneficios a las personas y a la sociedad.

(eng) The acceleration of the robotics and artificial intelligence development has given rise to a discussion on the impacts that could be generated in the coming future. From the optimistic opinions, we will enjoy the productivity and the convenience that will be brought from those robots. But at the same time, we worry about that this convenience might end with a massive destruction in employment. With the aim of being able to analyze better the impacts cause by robotics, we focus on the automotive sector, the pioneer in the industrial robot’s implementation. Up until now, almost half of the global demand of the industrial robots come particularly from the automotive industry. In this thesis, we try to find out the impacts generated by robotization in the selected countries such as the United States, Germany and China based on the collected statistical data. Furthermore, two corrective ways will be argued in the next paragraph in order to relieve those possible negative impacts. There is no doubt that the future of the automotive industry will be highly correlated with robotics and AI, but we hope that, the industry will be capable to bring more benefits to the people and the society with this technological revolution.
