Creencias y actitudes lingüísticas de los profesores de ELE noveles hacia las variedades cultas del español

Abstract

[spa] El estudio de las creencias y actitudes lingüísticas es una rama reciente de la sociolingüística que ha cobrado gran interés en las últimas décadas. El objetivo de este tipo de estudios es analizar las ercepciones (positivas o negativas) que tienen los usuarios de una lengua (en este caso, el español) hacia lenguas, variedades de lengua o fenómenos lingüísticos. En concreto, la presente investigación tiene como objetivo principal indagar en las creencias y actitudes lingüísticas de profesores de español como lengua extranjera noveles hacia las variedades cultas del español. Para ello, este estudio se basa en la metodología utilizada en el proyecto PRECAVES-XXI, uno de los proyectos panhispánicos que pretende describir y analizar las creencias y actitudes lingüísticas de los usuarios del español hacia las ocho variedades cultas del idioma. Para todo ello, se parte de una muestra de 26 profesores de ELE noveles cuyas respuestas permitirán estudiar en qué medida los profesores de ELE creen en la existencia de un español más prestigioso, cuál es la variedad culta mejor y peor valorada, y cómo influye su L1 en la percepción que tienen sobre la variedad castellana.

[eng] The study of linguistic beliefs and attitudes is a recent branch of sociolinguistics that has gained great interest in recent decades. The objective of this type of studies is to analyse the perceptions (positive or negative) that users of a language have (in this case, Spanish) towards languages, language varieties or linguistic phenomena. Specifically, the main objective of this research is to investigate linguistic beliefs and attitudes of new teachers of Spanish as a foreign language towards the learned varieties of Spanish. Therefore, this study is based on the methodology used in the PRECAVES-XXI project, one of the Panhispanic projects that aims to describe and analyse the linguistic beliefs and attitudes of Spanish users towards the eight learned varieties of the language. For this reason, we start from a sample of 26 new ELE teachers whose answers will allow us to study to which extent ELE teachers believe in the existence of a more prestigious Spanish, which is the best and worst valued cultivated variety, and what is the influence of their L1 in perception they have about the Castilian variety.
