Ampliació de les funcionalitats de l'aplicació EPM-GO de SEAT

Abstract

[en] This Project has been developed in SEAT S.A during six month approximately, where the main objectives of the project have been extend and modify an existent application of SEAT to manage all of existents actives projects of the company. The internal application is called EPM-GO SEAT where users can manage projects and create economic plannings to display and control the projects costs in the next years. This project has been made in four steps, the first one was analyze the objectives of the project to determinate what I had to implement or modify in the application. The second step was to designee the new interfaces, the interaction of the users with these interfaces and the modifications of the database if necessary. Before go to next step it’s important to show to the users the new interfaces and interactions to be sure they’ll be comfortable with and it satisfies all their need. The third step is the implementations of the new interfaces and the modifications of the application defined in the design phase. In the last phase of the project the new functionalities had to be presented to the new users and create a user manual to help future users of the application to understand how it works. Finally a migration plan was created to update the productive application where all users will be able to use the new interfaces and modifications implemented previously in the development application. This plan of migration had four important documents, first of all, a document with the steps to follow to complete the migration properly, the script SQL that modify the database of productive server, a zip with all of the new or modify code files to add to the productive server and finally a document with the test to realize after the migration process to verify that all works properly.
