Abstract: | While larger parts of the genome have been deciphered and sequenced during the last decade, it is now possible to identify practically all the genes that a cell or tissue transcribes and translates at a given moment in time (Wheeler et al., 2008). Thus, the challenge we are now facing is to understand the epigenetic regulation of all this information, it will be the next great task in the near future. The central nervous system (CNS), and especially the brain, has evolved to make humans the way they are, and it is strongly influenced and affected by epigenetic factors (Stroud et al., 2017)... |
