[spa] Se presentan los resultados de un estudio extensivo sobre las poblaciones de algas observadas sobre diferentes plantas acuáticas en sistemas lacustres de Cataluña. En total se han identificado 426 táxones de algas, siendo el grupo más numeroso el de las Bacilariofíceas, seguido por las Clorofíceas y Cianofíceas. Cabe destacar el número notablemente superior de especies algales sobre los tallos de Phragmites australis, También se comprueba, que sobre la superficie de los macrófitos estudiados existe un mayor porcentaje de especies que son propias del plancton o del bentos cercano, con respecto al de aquellas que son capaces de fijarse al substrato (epifíticas). Por otra parte, se ha observado que podrían existir ciertas diferencias entre los epífitos de macrófitos permanentes y anuales.
[eng] We present here the results of an extensive study on epiphytic algae in Catalonian lakes. 426 taxa were identified, being the Bacillariophyceae Ihe mosí importaní group, followed by Chlorophyceae and Cyanophyceae. Tlic highest diversity of epiphytic species appears in Phragmites australis stems. On the otherhand the number of bose attached algae (coming from plankton or benthos) is higher than the number of really epiphytic algae. A different composition of epiphytic species may be seen in permanent and seasonal macrophytes.
