dc.description.abstract[en] The Runge-Kutta methods provide a way to approximately solve Ordinary Differential Equations in an iterative algorithm. In this document we will study the Runge-Kutta methods from a theoretical point of view, and we will implement a numerical integrator in C++ using the values found by Jim Verner [1] in 1978. We will also program a jet series arithmetic to be able to find the equations of the stable and unstable varieties in the disturbed pendulum problem.ca
