We study the X-ray binary system Cygnus X-3 radio outburst applying the van der Laan model, which considers an adiabatically expanding cloud of relativistic electrons. We fit the time evolution of the synchrotron radiation, the outburst peak ffux density and time delay to the observational data of its radio outburst in 1972 September. The model reproduces the general trend of the data although some discrepancies, which are found, especially, in the low frequency rangeca
