Cel·la nómada

Abstract

[cat] L’accés a la cel·la on havia estat pres el meu avi durant la dictadura, em permet fer una recerca de les memòries acumulades entre aquell lloc i els records familiars i personals. A través de les traces, l’espai i la memòria, m’endinso en les relacions que sorgeixen entre allò construït i allò viscut, entre els elements físics que ens rodegen i els records que això genera. Un projecte que acaba produint una sèrie d’instal·lacions en el paisatge que funcionen com un acte catàrtic respecte d’aquest passat. L’ancoratge a la materialitat, s’esvaeix a favor d’un dibuix en el paisatge com a únic testimoni, que connecta aquells moments i una nova sensació de llibertat. La cel·la s’allibera de tot el seu pes, de la seva opressió, i es converteix en un record lleuger, on desapareixen els murs, la presó, i tota la ciutat... La memòria, travessada per l’aire i la natura.

[eng] Access to the cell where my grandfather had been taken during the spanish dictatorship allows me to search for the memories accumulated between that place, the family and my personal memories. Through traces, space and memory, we delve into the relationships that arise between what is built and what is lived, between the physical elements that surround us and the memories that this generates. A project that ends up producing a series of installations in the landscape that function as a cathartic act with respect to this past. The anchorage to materiality fades in favor of a drawing in the landscape as the only witness, which connects those moments and a new feeling of freedom. The cell is freed from all its weight, from its oppression, and becomes a light memory, where the walls, the prison, the all city disappear ... Memory, crossed by air and nature.
