Abstract: The surgical resection of the epileptogenic zone is the indicated treatment in drugresistant focal epilepsy. For this purpose, an accurate localisation of epileptogenic zone is crucial. A new method combining ictal SPECT and interictal PET is being validated. To this end, we simulated data, implemented the new methodology and validated it. Results show that the development of an automatic procedure to evaluate the presented method can be implemented
