[cat] Amb Quan el refugi es fa presó pretenc crear un espai on la pintura assumeixi dimensions arquitectòniques per tal que l’espectador pugui experimentar físicament la complexitat d’algunes reflexions entorn de la identitat, entorn de l’habitar, entorn de l’espai públic i privat entesos des d’una concepció psicològica, entorn de la nostra societat i de com aquesta influeix en la construcció d’aquesta identitat individual. L’espai que he construït convida a descobrir diverses capes del “ser”, les seves friccions i contradiccions, posant en joc algunes dicotomies com dins i fora, societat i individu, custodiar i intempèrie, mostrar i ocultar; mostrant així la complexitat de l’individu i la seva multiplicitat.

[eng] With When the refuge becomes a prison I tried to create a space where the painting assumes architectural dimensions so that the spectator can physically experience the complexity of some reflections around the identity, around living, around the space public and private understood from a psychological conception, around our society and how this influences the construction of the individual identity. The space I have constructed invites you to discover several layers of the “being”, its frictions and contradictions, bringing into the game some dichotomies such as private and public, inside and outside, society and individual, guarding and weathering, showing and hiding; showing then, the complexity of the individual and its multiplicity.
