Abstract

[cat] El projecte consisteix en una narració d’imatges en forma d’instal·lació tèxtil que vol reconstruir metafòricament els espais més importants del patrimoni espacial de la infància a través dels records i la memòria. Les teles penjants del sostre creen i delimiten les diferents capes que conformen la instal·lació, invitant a l’espectador a transitar pel seu interior en un recorregut interactiu per la història i la memòria familiar a través de l’essència de la infantesa de diferents èpoques. L’obra es basa en les connexions espacials, personals i vivencials entre les fotografies de la meva infantesa i la de la meva mare trobades a l’arxiu familiar. A partir d’aquest vincle sentimental, es deixa que el públic s’endinsi en un itinerari íntim d’històries personals on s’exploren els vincles familiars, les relacions inter-generacionals, la nostàlgia de la infantesa i el pas del temps a través de les associacions fotogràfiques i els diàlegs entre el jo i el passat.

[eng] The project consists of a narrative of images in the form of a textile installation that seeks to metaphorically reconstruct the most important spaces of children’s spatial heritage through memories. The fabrics hanging from the ceiling create and delimit the different layers that build/ make up the installation, inviting the viewer to travel across it in an interactive journey along the history and family memory through the essence of childhood from different eras. The art work is based on the spatial, personal and experiential connections between the photographs of my childhood and that of my mother found in the family archive. From this sentimental bond, the audience is allowed to enter an intimate itinerary of personal stories where family ties, inter-generational relationships, childhood nostalgia and the passage of time are explored through the photographic associations and dialogues between the self and the past.
