Abstract: The European Union has a rich spectrum of strategies, policies, initiatives, funding programmes, and institutions related to Science, Technology and Innovation (STI) that must be conducted into a Social Innovation Diplomacy strategy. The top innovator Member State is Sweden; hence it has the vocation to lead this aspect of EU’s Common Foreign and Security Policy.
