La transsexualitat a l’etapa de primària. Guia pel professorat

[cat] La transsexualitat durant l’etapa dels sis als dotze anys és cada cop més freqüent i sovint no tenim la informació ni les eines necessàries per a la inclusió d’aquest nen o nena. De fet, tot i que cada cop la gent és més tolerant cap a aquest tema, encara queda molt treball per fer. Aquest treball si es comença a fer des de l’escola, serà més fàcil. Per tant, l’objectiu del meu Treball Final de Grau és conèixer la transsexualitat a l’etapa de primària i cercar materials per afavorir la inclusió d’aquests nens i nenes a l’aula. La metodologia emprada per dur a terme el treball ha sigut una cerca en diferents bases de dades i en llibres que m’ha permès plasmar la història de la transsexualitat i conèixer el seu desenvolupament a la infantesa. La conversa amb la doctora Remei Tarragó ha fet el meu treball més vivencial, ja que ella treballa amb nens/es trans. Com a resultats, he pogut trobar eines necessàries per als docents per a informar-se sobre la transsexualitat i tenir materials per desenvolupar i potenciar el respecte al grup-classe. Aquests resultats seran útils per entendre la transsexualitat i tenir estratègies per evitar la discriminació cap aquests infants. Com a conclusions, és necessari evitar estigmes i evitar posar etiquetes als infants per potenciar el respecte en general, cap a totes les persones. Per tant, educar en valors és un dels conceptes que com a docents, hem de tenir més en compte.

[eng] Transsexuality during the stage from six to twelve years old is becoming more and more frequent and often we do not have the information or the necessary tools for the inclusion of this boy or girl. In fact, although people are becoming more tolerant of this issue, there is still a lot of work to be done. This work, if started at school, will be easier. Therefore, the objective of my Final Thesis is to learn about transsexuality at the primary school stage and to find materials to promote the inclusion of these boys and girls in the classroom. The methodology undertaken to carry out the work has been a search in different databases and books that has allowed me to capture the history of transsexuality and to know its development in infancy. The conversation with Dr. Remei Tarragó has made my work more experiential, since she works with trans children. As a result, I have been able to find the necessary tools for teachers to inform themselves about transsexuality and to have materials to develop and promote respect for the group-class. These results will be useful to understand transsexuality and to have strategies to avoid discrimination against these children. As conclusions, it is necessary to avoid stigmatization and avoid labeling children in order to promote respect in general, towards all people. Therefore, educating in values is one of the concepts that, as teachers, we must take more into account.
