Abstract: Facultat de Física, Universitat de Barcelona, Diagonal 645, 08028 Barcelona, Spain. We report an experimental study of the problem of the stick-slip dynamics associated to adhesive tape peeling. We will vary the peeling velocity by pulling the tape from the original roll using a commercial rotating tool and detecting the instability with a thermographic infrared camera. The aim is to detect the limits of the instability regions and compare with the values of Dalbe et al. [1]. The results match relatively well with previous experiments. Several modifications will be proposed to improve the experimental setup
