Abstract

[cat] Davant de la situació en que ens trobem actualment com a subjectes esgotats per el sistema de auto-producció desenvolupat al voltant de la filosofia DIY (Do it yourself), Unsicherheit sorgeix amb la intenció de posar en relleu el sentiment de incertesa i vulnerabilitat conseqüent a la situació, a la vegada que intenta generar una resposta per enfrontar-la, a través de l’acció de teixir. Des de l’herència familiar, l’acció escollida de teixir, pren forma, i es torna en quelcom reflexiu, perdent la seva metodologia mecànica, i obtenint un poder transformador que atorga valor al temps emprat. El teixit obtingut, passa a formar part d’una instal·lació escultòrica, conformada per unes cel·les metàl·liques, símbol de l’incertesa establerta de forma permanent al nostre cap, que volem amagar però que es torna incontrolable i es multiplica. Paradoxalment, el contingut d’aquestes gàbies és buit, posant en entredit si aquesta sensació és legítim o imposada fruit del sistema. Unsicherheit desemboca doncs en dues vessants: l’instal·lació performativa on es mostren els ens, i les accions artístiques i divulgació sobre el teixit a diferents espais.

[eng] Ahead the situation we are actually in as exhausted subjects by the self-productive system, which is developed around the DIY (Do it yourself) philosophy, Unsicherheit appears with the intention to highlight the uncertainty and vulnerability feelings as a result of that situation, at the same time it pretends to generate a response to confront it, through the action of weave. From the family legacy, the chosen action of weave, takes shape, and it becomes a thoughtful action, loosing it’s mechanical nature, to win a transformative power which gives value to the time used. The obtained cloth, becomes part of a sculptural installation, formed by a metallic cells, symbol of the established uncertainty which it turns to be out of control and it multiplies. Paradoxically, the content of this cells is empty, questioning if this situation is genuine or imposed as a result of the system. Unsicherheit ends in two parts: the performative installation where the cells are in, and the artistic actions and disseminative talks about weaving, in different places.
