Una proposta per a fomentar l’empatia a partir del mètode Kodály

[cat] Existeixen nombrosos estudis que confirmen i demostren que la música influencia en l’estat emocional dels individus i en els seus comportaments, provocant que sorgeixin accions pro socials com per exemple, l’empatia. L’objectiu principal de l’estudi present és comprovar si l’aplicació de la intervenció proposada fomenta l’empatia. S’han tingut en compte els estudis que demostraven que la música afectava en el sorgiment dels comportaments pro socials i els que afirmaven l’efectivitat del mètode Kodály en el món de l’educació musical. Es tracta d’una intervenció dirigida a infants de P5 que es durà a terme durant tot un curs acadèmic, per tal de poder observar l’efecte que pot tenir l’estudi present. La mostra proposada en aquesta proposta està formada per un total de 16 escoles de l’àrea metropolitana de Barcelona, incloent centres públics, privats i concertats de nivells socioeconòmics diversos, aproximadament 700 nens i nenes en total. La meitat dels centres escolars formaran els grups control, els quals no realitzaran la intervenció, mentre que l’altra meitat la formaran els grups experimentals. En tots els participants, famílies i mestres dels participants es proposa realitzar un pretest i un posttest amb l’objectiu de recollir dades i analitzar i mesurar els canvis i efectes de les dues variables dependents: l’empatia afectiva i l’empatia cognitiva. Durant l’estudi també es tindrien en compte les variables estranyes que podrien alterar els resultats de la intervenció proposada. L’anàlisi de dades es faria a partir d’un sistema ANCOVA per tal de poder analitzar les variàncies i la regressió que pugui existir entre les diferents variables presents. Amb aquest estudi es pretén determinar si la intervenció proposada fomenta o no l’empatia a partir de la música i el mètode d’ensenyament Kodály en infants de P5 i com efecte en els diferents participants.

[eng] There are multiple studies that confirm and show that music influences the emotional state and behavior of a person, causing pro-social actions, like, for example, empathy. The main aim of the study in this paper is to verify the impact of the intervention proposed encourages empathy. The following studies that show music affecting pro-social behavior and those that confirm the effectiveness of the Kodály method, have been taken into consideration. This is an intervention addressed towards preschool children between 5-6 years old that will take one school year to complete to observe the effects that can have the present main study. The proposed sample includes the preschool groups of 16 schools based on the metropolitan area of Barcelona, including public, private and charter schools of various socioeconomical levels, about 700 children. Half of the schools will form control groups, those to whom will not apply this intervention, and the other half will form the experimental groups. A pretest, and posttest will be proposed to all participants, families and teachers of the participants with the main objective of collecting, analyzing and measuring the data and effects of the two dependent variables: Affective empathy and cognitive empathy. During this study it will also be considered the extraneous variables that can disrupt the results of the proposed intervention. This study will be able to determine if the application of this intervention encourages empathy in preschool children or not.
