Descripció microtipològica i anàlisi freqüencial de les obertures del català

Abstract

[cat] L'objectiu d’aquest treball és dur terme una tasca de buidatge, de classificació i de recompte de la freqüència de les obertures simples i complexes en posició inicial de mot, i de les obertures complexes en posició interior de mot en funció del grau de sonicitat dels elements que les integren. El treball té com a marc teòric els principis bàsics de formació de síl·labes i els principis universals que regeixen l’ordenació dels segments dins de la síl·laba i entre síl·labes en funció de la seva sonicitat. S’hi ofereix una perspectiva que engloba les llengües en general i es fa una descripció acurada dels tipus d’obertures que hi ha en català, tant de les obertures simples, com de les obertures complexes. La hipòtesi general és que les tendències universals que són aplicables a la majoria de llengües, també ho són al català, i, a més, transcendeixen en la freqüència dels tipus d’obertures.

[eng] The aim of this work is to carry out a task of revision, classification and frequency counting of simple and complex onsets in word-initial position, and complex onsets in word-medial postion, taking into account the sonority degree of their constituents. The theoretical framework is based on the basic principles of syllable formation and the universal principles governing the arrangement of the segments within the syllable and between syllables according to their sonority. The paper considers languages in general and a detailed description of the onset typology in Catalan, including simple and complex onsets. The general hypothesis is that the universal tendencies that are applicable to most languages are also applicable to Catalan, and more specifically to its onset frequency.
