Abstract: In the current context of SARS-CoV-2 pandemic, one of the main concerns is whether SARS-CoV-2 can be vertically transmitted. In addition to conventional testing for SARS-CoV-2 detection in respiratory specimens, the study of viral populations contributes to the clarification of infection dynamics.
