L’existir humà a la fenomenologia de l’oníric de Medard Boss i Ludwig Binswanger

Abstract

[cat] Els psiquiatres suïssos Ludwig Binswanger i Medard Boss van ser els fundadors de la daseinanàlisi (Daseinsanalyse), una revisió de la psicoanàlisi freudiana a la llum de la fenomenologia i l’existencialisme. Els dos psiquiatres van estudiar el fenomen oníric des d’una perspectiva radicalment diferent a la freudiana, conservant la centralitat, però reintegrant els somnis a la necessària unitat del Dasein humà. La fenomenologia de l’oníric, en darrer terme, es veia com a una oportunitat més d’aprofundir en l’aclariment de l’existir humà. Tanmateix, Boss i Binswanger no es van limitar a proporcionar una nova comprensió dels somnis, sinó de tots els elements fonamentals de la daseinanàlisi. Així, de la mà principalment de l’analítica existencial heideggeriana, van posar en relació la psicoanàlisi amb la fenomenologia existencial, proporcionant una nova base metodològica i material per a la psicoteràpia. Les seves aportacions van donar un impuls decisiu a la reorientació de la psiquiatria, però també van resultar molt fructíferes per a la mateixa filosofia. El diàleg obert amb diversos autors de l’entorn fenomenològic i existencial va contribuir a assolir una visió més àmplia de la teràpia i la salut, així com a una reconstrucció de la comprensió de l’ésser humà que incorporava noves perspectives per intentar entroncar-les en la totalitat de l’existència humana.

[eng] Swiss psychiatrists Ludwig Binswanger and Medard Boss founded the Daseinsanalysis (Daseinsanalyse), a review of Freudian psychoanalysis in the light of phenomenology and existentialism. Both psychiatrists studied the dream phenomenon from a radically different perspective from Freud’s, preserving its centrality, but reintegrating dreams into the necessary unity of human Dasein. Ultimately, the phenomenological study of dreams was seen as another opportunity to deepen the clarification of human existence. However, Boss and Binswanger did not just provide a new understanding of dreams, but also of all the fundamental elements of Daseinsanalysis. Thus, mainly through Heidegger’s existential analytic, they put psychoanalysis in relation with existential phenomenology, providing a new methodological and material basis for psychotherapy. His contributions have provided a decisive impulse to the reorientation of psychiatry, but they have also been very fruitful for philosophy itself. The open dialogue with several authors from the phenomenological and existential environment contributed to achieve a broader vision of therapy and health, as well as a reconstruction of the understanding of the human being, which incorporates new perspectives in an attempt to connect them to the totality of human existence.
