Abstract: Three sets of seasonal predictions that differ in the implementations of the forcing due to biomass burning emissions have been analysed doing a retrospective study of the wildfires that occurred in Indonesia (2015), Australia (2019-2020) and California (2020). The impact of including observed and climatological biomass burning emissions in the seasonal forecasts is evaluated by characterizing the climate anomalies
