dc.description.abstractThe formation of a new double-stranded staircase Hg(I) supramolecular assembly is reported. It is arranged into 2D corrugated sheets supported by Hg(I)⋯Odioxole and Hg⋯π interactions, resulting from the comproportionation reaction between Hg(II) and Hg(0) species in DMF as a solvent.-
