Abstract: Theories supporting fetal origins of adult health and disease are nowadays widely accepted regarding some psychiatric conditions. However, whether genetic or environmental factors disrupting fetal growth might constitute a rick factor for depressive and/or anxious psychopathology remains still controversial.
