| Abstract: | The plataform developed in this project helps to manage and solve failures of an advertising screens system, with screens located all over the Spanish geography. This system with more than 1000 screens belongs to the company Impactmedia S.A. The developed platform allows you to know the status of all the screens, as they have a (RS232) serial connection to communicate with each shopping center's computer. We can also manage the electrical system of the screens with relays. Each computer in every shopping center is connected through the internet to a central server tha t collects all the information to be processed and stored. Finally, all the screens are monitorized in real time through a web application by the company technicians from Headquarters. This application shows the status of the screens and also allows the technicians to interact with the screens solving problems in a remote way. |
