Hojas en el camino

Abstract

[cat] El treball consisteix en la realització d’un total de set il·lustracions que pretenen acompanyar i complementar un narració. És una mostra, un primer pas, d’un projecte amb el qual persegueixo construir tota una novel·la il·lustrada. L’argument de la història en sí també és una creació pròpia i original meva, al igual que les composicions pictòriques. Les obres finals tenen les dimensions aproximades d’un DinA3 i les he realitzat a l’ordinador amb tècnica digital. Les presento aquí, quan ho he considerat necessari, al costat de petits fragments de la novel·la. Amb aquestes il·lustracions, pretenc buscar una riquesa visual capaç d’embolcallar l’espectador en l’atmosfera de cada escena i introduir-lo en el món imaginari que li presento. Així com també, que pugui captar les sensacions que es deixen entreveure en els personatges que apareixen. Tenen cabuda en aquest treball temes com la importància de la naturalesa o les responsabilitats individuals. En base a múltiples referents, he aprofundit en aspectes tècnics i formals com la composició i la gama cromàtica. També he desenvolupat tot un seguit de tècniques i procediments per a la resolució conseqüent dels acabats finals, amb l’objectiu d’interioritzar diversos coneixements i fer possible una major riquesa dels dibuixos. Desitjo que es gaudeixi de la contemplació de les il·lustracions, de la mateixa manera que jo he gaudit realitzant-les.

[eng] This work is composed by seven illustrations that are meant to complement and be shown alongside a narrative text. It’s a sample -a first step- of a project that pursues to build an entire illustrated novel. The storyline itself is also an original creation written by myself, like the pictorial compositions. Made using digital techniques, the final works have a scale around an A3 and are shown -when necessary- beside small fragments of the novel. With these illustrations I seek a visual richness capable of involving the spectator in the atmosphere of each scene and put them into the imaginary world that is presented, as well as to make it easier for them to understand the feelings suggested by the characters that appear in the illustrations. Furthermore, themes like the importance of the nature and individual responsibilities also appear in them. Based on several references, I went into detail about technical and formal aspects like composition and colours. I also developed some techniques and procedures for the consequent solution of the finishing touches, with the goal to internalize all the new knowledge I learnt and improve the visual richness of my drawings. I wish the spectators enjoy the contemplation of the illustrations at least as much as I enjoyed making them.
