dc.description.abstract[18F] FDDNP is a tracer used in positron emission tomography (PET) studies to evaluate amyloid plaques deposits in different types of neurological disease. In a standard study an image sequence is acquired during 90 min post injection. This study suggests an analysis method to quantify the dynamic study and evaluates the differences among patients. Programs have been developed and various parameters have been optimized to increase the reliability of the results.ca
