dc.description.abstractWe have studied a 2D model for a magneto-structural material that successfully simulates the behaviour of Fe-Pd multiferroic material. We have obtained conffigurations of magnetic and structural domains for selected values of the applied magnetic field. The model has provided us the necessary data to obtain the entropy change induced by application of a magnetic field. We have further tested the response of the system as we applied a saturation field that rotates in the xy plane.ca
