Abstract: This report you are about to read is a chronicle of how Iron and Time was developed. Iron and Time is an Action-RPG videogame developed using Unreal Engine 4, a videogame engine from Epic Games, and more precisely with its Blueprint Visual Scripting technology. If you are unfamiliar with more than three words from the couple of sentences above this is a great place to be! Through the report, we will take a deep look into Unreal Engine, we will learn how to use it, what are blueprints, how do we script with them and why did we chose it to develop this game. We will also take a look at the project structure to understand not only how could it be made but also, and more important, how it is actually made. We will also explore some difficulties we came across, including a very critical one (see THE BUG) to finally reach some conclusions about the project itself and its future.
