Mala hierba nunca muere

Abstract

[cat] Aquest projecte és una aproximació al què significa aprofitar la condició de ‘mala herba’ avui dia. Em sembla més que escaient com a metàfora de resistència i de perdurabilitat. “Mala hierba nunca muere”, una connotació pejorativa com a exemple de l’imaginari que comporta la idea de ‘mala herba’. Pretenc abordar des de la narració física, de quina manera ens és condicionada la relació i comprensió del nostre entorn, en base a la manera d’habitar-lo i l’ús que en fem. Centrant especial atenció als espais urbans on es desenvolupen pràctiques d’empoderament per part del ciutadà, utilitzant la permacultura, la jardineria, i la sembra com a forma de protesta.

[eng] This project is an approach to what it means to take the status of ‘weed’ today. It seems more than appropriate as a metaphor for strength and durability. “Bad weeds never die,” is an example of a pejorative connotation arround the concept of ‘weeds’. I intend to approach from a physical narrative, how conditioned is the relationship and understanding of our environment, based on the way we inhabit and use it. Focusing special attention on urban areas where the citizens develop empowerment practices using permaculture, gardening and planting as a way of protest.
