Emili Pujol (1886-1980), pedagog i intèrpret de la guitarra en el context de l'estètica guitarrística de mitjans del segle XIX i primera meitat del segle XX a Catalunya

[cat] La present tesi analitza l’estètica de la guitarra entre els segles XIX i XX a partir d’una figura de referència de l’època, el guitarrista català Emili Pujol Vilarrubí. Es reconstrueix, així, el periple vital del músic, contextualitzant els fets transcendents que propiciaren la seva evolució musical i ideològica. A la vegada, s'aprofundeix en el contingut dels apunts inèdits del guitarrista, els quals tracen les línies principals del seu pensament estètic. El conjunt d’aquests apunts estava dirigit a la redacció del cinquè i últim volum del mètode de Pujol, la Escuela razonada de la guitarra. És per aquest motiu que, a part de l’anàlisi dels textos, s’ha realitzat una reconstrucció del que podria haver estat el mencionat llibre inèdit.

[eng] The following thesis analyses the aesthetics of the guitar in the 19th and 20th centuries and is based on a prominent figure from that period, the Catalan guitar player Emili Pujol Vilarrubí. This musician’s life journey is reconstructed and the key facts that led to his musical and ideological evolution are contextualised. At the same time, the thesis delves into the content of the guitar player’s unpublished notes, which show the main ideas of his aesthetic way of thinking. All these notes were to be used to write the fifth and last volume of Pujol’s method, called Escuela Razonada de la Guitarra. For this reason, in addition to an analysis of the texts, a reconstruction has been carried out of what the aforementioned unpublished book might have been.
