Abstract: | The aim of this article is to show which are the dramatic "yields" of the inclusion of the reference to the goddess Diana in Tennessee Williams's Cat on a Hot tin Roof. In the author's opinion, it does not deal simply with a meaningful reference; on the contrary, the accurate analysis of Williams's text proves that it is a true nuclear and cohesive element of the whole drama. |
