Black Stockings

Abstract

[cat] Les obres que presento sota el títol Black Stokings se situen a cavall entre el llenguatge escultòric i el llenguatge pictòric, en aquestes obres el material tèxtil esdevé protagonista, tant per les seves qualitats expressives, formals com extensions conceptuals. Els treballs presentats en format d'instal·lació es fonamenten en una experimentació amb les qualitats elàstiques de la mitja que alhora em permeten treballar l'espai. Introduint conseqüències expressives entorn del cos femení i la seva construcció i de-construcció mitjançant formes antropomòrfiques i posant èmfasi en les emocions com les tensions, les distensions i els esquinçaments.

[eng] The work presented under the title Black Stockings is a combination of sculptural and pictorial language. In this work the textile material is the protagonist, due to its expressive qualities, formal and conceptual extensions. The work presented in this installation is based on an experimentation with the elastic qualities of the stockings, which at the same time allows me to draw in the surrounding space. Introducing expressive connotations around the female body, its construction and deconstruction through anthropomorphic forms, emphasizing emotions such as tension, distension and tearing.
