| spa |
dc.description.abstract | [eng] This project aims to investigate the role of women in the History of Art, making emphasis on their role in text books used in the last two years of high school, more specifically, in the one that is used on the subject of History of Art. I take this book to analyse it from the view of the art women historians, in order to transform the curriculum book reading, revealing the stereotypes with which man has represented woman. Moreover, I’ll try to expose who pretends to end the artistic creations of women. This research is completed with a theatre play, where Is hall reflect all the absorbed knowledge during the project, and it is also illustrated with artists pictures created by my own. In addition, it has de particularity that that begins at the end of this work. In this creation, different women from different centuries meet in a library to discuss and offer their point of view about the role of women in the History of art. I have written these conversations between artists because I strongly believe that it is through words and dialogue that the History of art should be told and not from the point of view of great geniuses. | eng |
