dc.description.abstractImmediately after the Civil War, Josep Pla took some decisions -not merely aesthetic, but also commercial- about his work that would lead him to publish his books with five different publishers. This article provides an explanation for these decisions, supported by unpublished correspondence between Josep Pla and the Editorial Joventut and the recently-published correspondence between Pla and Cruzet.-
