Desenvolupament del portal web de la Facultat de Matemàtiques i Informàtica

Abstract

[en] The University of Barcelona’s Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science features a common web portal which students, professors and faculty-related staff members access frequently to gather the information that is provided. Since its creation, some years ago, there are reasons to belive it may have gotten outdated, with users reporting a confusing and unclear layout of information. Moreover, updating the information is a complex process due to the over-simplistic structure that hinders the maintenance duties. For that reason, the objective of updating the site has been laid out. In this project we set out with the idea of carrying out an analysis and a new design of the web portal to ensure that the users have access to organized information and, at the same time, provide tools to update it in a simple and fast way.
