Shiroi: Refugio nómada como alternativa a la desvalorización temporal

Abstract

[spa] Desde que empezamos a valernos por nosotros mismos acabamos buscando lugares apartados donde nuestra imaginación tapona la soledad; adentrándonos en nuestra mente y separándonos de aquello que nos “obliga” a pensar de una forma más “correcta” y adecuada a la sociedad contemporánea que nos ha tocado vivir. No es de extrañar que, a priori, la experiencia y los recuerdos que tengamos sobre nuestra infancia, además de los objetos que nos queden de ella, generen un cierto aprecio que nos impulse a guardarlos en una caja con nombre y apellidos sin ser conscientes del porqué de dicho comportamiento.¿Es posible crear un lugar donde cualquier niño o niña pueda sentirse “cómodo” alejado de la visión racional de sus padres? Y si es así, ¿qué pasará cuando ese individuo llegue a su adolescencia y recuerde su infancia de forma nostálgica y rencorosa, llena de mentiras por parte de los adultos? ¿Seguirá queriendo guardar ese lugar materializado? Y si no hay suficiente espacio en su nueva habitación ¿qué hará? Hay tantas cuestiones que si llega ese momento con preguntas como: ¿y si lo tiramos?, ¿y si lo regalamos?, todo el tiempo que habré empleado aquí no servirá para nada más que para la reflexión artística.

[eng] As we have grown up we have gained knowledge, so we have just searched for further places where our imagination blocks loneliness; little by little it is entering in our mind and we are separating from something which obligates ourselves to think in the correct and appropriate way to relate to the contemporary society that we have to live in. Firstly, it is not surprising that the experiences and memories from our childhood as well as those objects which we have created some sense of regard in ourselves. Furthermore, we are able to keep them in a box with our name and surnames without the reason why.Could it be possible to create a place where any child can feel comfortable without their parents constantly caring for them? If it is, what would happen if that child reaches his adolescence and remember his nostalgic and resentful childhood full of lies from adults? Will he want to keep that materialistic place? If it cannot fit in his bedroom because of the size, what will he do?There are a lot of questions that if that moment arrives with questions like: What will happen if we throw it out? Or if we give it to someone? all the time we had spent here wouldn’t have to be useful for anything more than artistic reflexion.
