Representació i censura de l’homosexualitat a la literatura en català del franquisme

[eng] With the victory of the Francoist army, homosexuality in Spain was first silenced, then persecuted and finally tolerated, based on pseudo-scientific criteria and, above all, to the defense of moral precepts. In the literature, however, many writers took the opportunity to talk about non-normative sexual orientations, some to display them when they were silenced, others to claim their normality and some to continue transmitting the ideals of the majority of society and from. Always, obviously, under the watchful eye of Censorship, often arbitrary, that prohibited or authorized these publications with often arbitrary criteria. The representations of homosexuals in literature in Catalan are a reflection of the mentality that the authors wanted to convey to society during these decades. Some authorized, others prohibited, speak of the social conception against the government, and the changes in mentality experienced by the country during the forty years of Franco's government.

[cat] Amb la victòria de l’exèrcit Franquista, l’homosexualitat a l’Estat Espanyol va ser primer silenciada, després perseguida i finalment mig tolerada, basant-se en criteris pseudocientífics i, sobretot, a la defensa dels preceptes morals. A la literatura, però, molts escriptors van aprofitar per parlar de les orientacions sexuals no normatives, alguns per a visibilitzar-les quan eren silenciades, altres per a reivindicar-ne la normalitat i alguns per seguir transmetent els ideals de la majoria de la societat i del. Sempre, evidentment, sota l’atenta mirada de la Censura, sovint arbitrària, que prohibia o autoritzava aquestes publicacions amb criteris sovint arbitraris. Les representacions dels homosexuals a la literatura en català són reflex de la mentalitat que els autors van voler transmetre a la societat durant aquestes dècades. Alguns autoritzats, altres prohibits, ens parlen de la concepció social enfront de la governamental, i dels canvis de mentalitat que va experimentar el país durant els quaranta anys de govern franquista.
