Abstract: Trifena, possibly Marc Anthony's descendent, was a personality with a suggesting biography. She is mentioned by a variety sources and in contradictory contexts. She was a queen, widow, traveller and Christian's protector. Her name appears in some of the most controversial matters of Latin literature and it is mentioned in a canonical text, the letter by Saint Paul to the Romans.
