dc.description.abstractA statistical development is presented to use the positional information in photometric planes - the information contained in the position of a star with respect to a calibration line. This development is applied in the case of color-color planes, defining what we call the proximity parameter, which is used for luminosity classification purposes and for an improved use of calibrations.-
