Abstract: We have studied the magnetic low temperature configurations of nanotubes made of spins with exchange (J) and dipolar interactions (D). For this purpose, we have set up a self-made computer code capable of generating hollow tubes by folding a planar regular lattice at any desired angle and controlling its radius and length. The results of the Monte Carlo (MC) simulations have allowed us to unveil different kinds of magnetic order depending on γ = D/J. Peculiar helicoidal states are formed in a range of γ that depend on the geometric parameters of the tube. With the addition of magnetic anisotropy, a rich variety of new states with radial magnetization components appear.
