Ferromagnetic materials are characterized for having high magnetization and for their non-linear and non-reversible nature. This work shows a study of hysteresis loops in steel to identify different ferromagnetic magnetization mechanisms. Some hysteresis loops have been studied in different zones of the principal loop. A magnetometer was used to measure the magnetization changes and a DC power supply to give current to a coil to create a magnetic field. Having the results, we defined a degree of irreversibility for each loop and plotted it against the different parameters of our experimentca
