Abstract

[cat] Fílotes. Cosir, una carta dedicada és la creació d’una nova espècie a partir de l’imaginari personal. El projecte, on he abocat tota la tendresa, està estretament lligat al meu entorn personal, territorial i familiar. S’articula a partir d’elements naturals que són recosits o teixits a través del ganxet. Aquest acte lent parla d’una tradició provinent de l’herència familiar i cultural i modifica la fisognomia vegetal. L’ acció creativa i recreativa prové d’una necessitat de buidatge personal, que es resol amb la repetició del nus. Els elements recuperats del bosc d’Eucaliptus, evolucionen cap a una altre espècie hibrida, que rep una altra funció i allarga la seva esperança de vida.

[eng] Philotes. Sewing, a dedicated letter, it is the creation of a new species from my personal imagination, where I have poured. Evoking all the tenderness that accompanies it and that has grown on around the edges of the personal, territorial and familiar environment. It is made from natural elements that are woven through crochet. This slow action speaks about a tradition from my family and cultural heritage, which with its slow growth, modifies the vegetal physiognomy. The creative and recreational act flourishes from the need for personal emptying, which is resolved by repeating the knot. The elements recovered from the Eucalyptus forest evolve into another hybrid species, which receives another function and extends its life expectancy.
